Welcome to English I and English II. The 2018-2019 school year will be my 8th year in education, and my third in the Dripping Springs family.

*Parents: I ask that if you need to contact your child in the event of an emergency, you call my extension or the front office as cell phones are prohibited in class unless used for instruction.

If at any time throughout the year, your child believes they may fail the six weeks we are in, there is a list of independent reading novels that they can pick from and do an assignment associated with that novel to replace ONE of their summative grades. The list of these novels can be found in the links associated with their class. Each novel has a number in parenthesis that designates which six weeks each novel is assigned, and can be done in.

***This option is only available if they are FAILING with a 65 or less by the interim, NOT for anyone who wants to improve an already passing grade.

About Me

I graduated from The University of Texas at Austin in 2009 with a BS in Early Childhood Development. I bleed orange!

I began playing soccer at the age of 8 and have loved the sport every since. I was both a girls powerlifting assisstant coach and a girls soccer assisstant coach. I love all sports!

I'm a huge movie and book lover, however I still feel that the book is better than the movie.
